Does anyone have any information concerning good study material for the Georgia History and Law, and the Hydrology exam? Any information concerning material to focus on, or any good books to take into the exam, will be greatly appreciated.
There are two books that you must go through if you are to pass both portions of the exam.
1. Georgia Sureying History. Written by Farris Cadle. It is a must read especially concerning Riparian Rights in Georgia
2. Practical Hydrology sold by surveyors workshop. Really helped simplify the calculations for me. I would also recommend the SAMSOG manual for hydrology reference and lastly don't forget the Green Bible. You can dowload the ESPC manual and I would bind it at staples and take it with me to the exam. You will need that also.
Good luck. If you have any more questions feel free to contact me.

Practical Hydrology is a book by Jack Keen. We sell that and also will have Mr. Keen teaching a one day class on Hydrology in the Spring. No details yet on the date. Hope to get that hammered out by Thanksgiving.
You might also consider taking the Hydrology Flipchart into the exam. (But first check and make certain the exam is open book. Many of the state specific exams are but the National exams are not.)
