We do a lot of water work and today I turned my left sneaker into a Nike moccasin. Gonna have to scuff it up and epoxy back to the bottom once dried out. I also destroyed the metal handle of a brand new Army issue E-Tool chopping a root to set a pin. Pretty disappointing given that my last one took 3-4 years to come apart.
Another fun pic from last week. This joker was roughly 6' and seemed interested in the art of the measure-up. We didn't have time for gator wrestling so I didn't go in that box culvert. The ditches will be drying up though just in time for some frigid 50* Florida temps in the coming months...
Just watched a show about the Florida Everglades on some nature channel the other day. According to the show, when the Glades dry up in the winter, the gators wander around looking for water. Sounds like a dangerous time to be out there.
