I recently purchased a new Ranger 3l running Survey Pro 5.0.1 along with an Epoch 35 GNNS receiver and after a few trial runs was running into horizontal errors of multiple feet when roving to collect topo shots. After some experimenting is appears that when in data collection mode you can’t hit POINT as you’re walking to the next topo shot as you could with older versions of Survey Pro. Previously when you hit POINT it just triggered the real time screen and then you hit STORE to start collecting the preset number of epochs. It appears now that the POINT feature collects data in the OCCUPY mode only and can't be changed from ROVING to STATIC ON OCCUPY under the receiver measurement settings. I have noticed when staking points you can toggle a grey button on the real time screen from ROVING or OCCUPY, but not in other screens. I tested collecting points in both manners and the points that where collected by waiting to push POINT match the robot observations. While the points that I pushed POINT while walking were off considerably.
Another bug I found is when rotating points don't include your rotation point in the selection set or it randomly moves the rotation point.
All in all 5.0 has some nice new features.

I liked the new layout of 5.0 and some of the new features, especially the new home screen, but the one big problem I had with it was that I could no longer adjust my traverse in Carlson Survey and then import the adjusted points back in to the same job...it will not allow you to overwrite "dependent" points--points that were occupied. I'm not interested in having several .survey files for a project. I spoke with Spectra about this at length and they finally told me that there was no way to overwrite the dependent points. I went back to 4.9.2.
How do you like your Epoch? I bought mine a year ago and it's been a great purchase.

Great now that I'm getting good shots with it.
