Does anyone know of any seminars or classes for the FS Exam review in the coming months in the southeast especially NC, SC, Ga, Va, Tenn, and SC?
I took a prep class from LSS seminars for my RPLS exam. While I wouldn't say taking the class was the sole reason I passed my exam, I will say it was worth the money spent. I would also suggest getting the book "Fundamentals of Surveying: Sample Examination" by George Cole. Take the practice exam (don't write in the book) when you first get the book to see how much you know and what you need to work on. Take it again about a month before the actual exam to reevaluate what you still need work/refreshing on. This strategy worked well for me on both the FS and RPLS exam.

Trying to get all the contracts signed so we can make an announcement. IF everything falls into place as planned, we will have a 3 day FS review in early Oct.
Following that will be a 1 Day Hydrology Review and after that a 2 Day PS Exam review.
Be patient, details soon.

I agree, know the book by Cole forwards and backwards and you should be fine. Also a calculator with all the Curve formulas and Inverse functions is a must. When I took it there was a lot of photogrammetry questions - way more then I would have expected.
