Monday morning, 672 views, 25 thumbs up and 28 thumbs down. I think sanity is keeping a close enough second place to show some potential 😉

Bobby told Lucy, "The world ain't round
Drops off sharp at the edge of town
Lucy, you know the world must be flat
'Cos when people leave town, they never come back"

I voted because the video was good, and I respect the effort being made by the Wildman, but, like a lot of people here I think, it seems kind of fruitless to try to get people to come in and vote on something to artificially inflate the votes.

The video should simply be an instructional video to help folks who want to learn about measuring and accounting for curvature and/or present a higher respect for what land surveyors do.

As to voting, arguing with this (flatheads) sort is like the old saying: "I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it." (George Bernard Shaw ?)

You make very good points Tom and I appreciate the feedback. That was my very first YouTube video, ever. I plan on doing exactly what you said. I'll create another version that will be purely educational for those that are interested in geodesy and will also be 100% rejected by the devoted flat earther, ya know, something for everyone. And, it will be much shorter for the attention span challenged. Tom, it's good to hear a positive word once in a while. Thank you. Fortunately Wendell furnished us with a very useful "ignor" button.
