Do you still have a code for pay phones in your code list?
For the first time in years I worked on a site with a payphone (topographic survey)!
Made me think.
do they still exist?
Just because one may exist isn't a good reason to keep a code for them on your list.
yep. It is "MISC -PAY PHONE"
That is a situation where I would make up a code on the spot then make a note in the field book describing what it was. I'd probably take a picture too, because no one would believe they still existed.
Our code would be 'Tele' - used for Telecommunication infrastructure
I'd then note it as Pay Phone
On the plan that will generate a circle with a 'T' in it and the note text alongside
I dont' remember seeing a code for those in any code list I've used.
Maybe just shoot it as a ground shot with a comment.
I haven't seen a payphone in years.
It was just funny to see one!
