We are looking to add something a little more substantial than a company sticker or our company info written in sharpie on our equipment.

Can someone point me in the direction of something more durable that we can put on our equipment for identification purposes.

Not sure what you mean by "company sticker," but I find the serialized aluminum asset tags to be a good choice at reasonable cost. Search "asset tag" and you'll find tons of suppliers.

Forty feet of log chain welded to form the words, "NOT YOURS". Attach one to each item of significant value.

See Dang Boy Dog...!!! post

Just kidding man. Maybe try laser etching your info onto the equipment? I would not use an engraving pen on most instruments because of the vibration.

You might want to consider using an ultra violet marker, it's a good way to create a label that thieves can't see and won't try to remove.
