I've done a little testing on one that a client has - comparing the Reach results with a Trimble R6 set on the same tripods and using an R6 as a base in the same area. Out in the open with a CLEAR view of the whole sky it performed well with close agreement to the R6. As soon as you get any significant part of the sky obstructed then the accuracy drops off rapidly and short times wouldn't compute. As an L1 only receiver it actually performed quite well when computing from the fixed network, but again only in clear sky situation.

If you just need a local base which can be located in a fully open area then it seems to perform well enough for most work. If you need a tie into the national network then you might need quite a few hours of data to get a really good tie. To summarise - on regular open sites it may well be a good cheap option, For one off sites it would probably only be used for relative, local coordinates, not for a national fix. So you could use it for measuring earthworks but probably not for initial setting out.
Indonesia might be a problem because of vegetation cover. I understand that some Australians have had good results.
