Not the 1857 GLO stone which was placed at this location, but believe it or not, I can still get excited about finding a chunk of concrete buried in the road. This dates back to 1904. Over the years, surveyors have referred to it as a "concrete block", which I assumed was perhaps a cinder building block. It instead appears to be part of a foundation wall since two sides were formed. It does look like a GLO stone the way it is shaped and comes up to a point. Maybe some surveyor decided to make a replica of the lost GLO stone. (Something I might do). Measures 12"x14"x8". It's safely back in the ground, deeper, and a capped pipe over the top.

I have a 1/4 corner that looks much like that, I wondered who would pour a mold and make a nice post looking section of concrete just for a corner, turns out it wasn't concrete but mudstone. It was the original, sure looks like concrete to me. Not saying that one isn't a replica, but there are natural stones that look very much like a chunk of concrete.
