We recently got a Carlson Surveyor + data collector and we want to enter a distance that we measured with a steel tape. With our old SRD33 data collector we were able to record the horiz. & zenith angles from the instrument and manually type in the slope distance we measured with the steel tape. Can this be done in the Carlson Surveyor+ data collector? Thanks for the help.

I don't mine in front of me, but somewhere on there there is a manual entry button. It might be under the COGO tab, then look on the right hand side.

In SurvCE, try the COGO tab -- Manual Traverse (button 9) command.
