HP50g

I’m just a student, and haven’t pushed D’Zign’s SurveyPac out anywhere near its limits, but I have it on my HP50g, and it’s done what I’ve asked it to do in working problems. I haven’t used the staking routines. I never used a 48, but I believe the people who say that the 50g has a lighter-duty feel to it.

Cheers,
Henry

Having used the 48gx (recreationally only) and 50g I can certainly say that the 50g is way faster, and offers more bang for your buck as compared to if you're going to buy a 48gx from eBay or something. Also there are a number of possibilities if you want a COGO program to check plan closures or perform any number of other types of calculations ( for the 50g ). I truly understand how some may prefer the 48gx due to familiarity and similar reasons, but the 50g is technologically a smarter decision, heck you can use a SD card to transfer files, instead of outdated, hard to come by cards. I think the question becomes, are you willing to learn a little to gain a lot?
