In my work they gave me the physical points of a base line (base and rover) including coordinates, azimuth and distance ..., I put in those points my gps promark base and rover and when processing the line the distance and azimuth coincide but the Coordinates are different to me ..., the coordinates obtained are not floating or autonomous coordinates, they are linked to a geodesic network ..., what am I doing wrong ??
Ground coordinates vs grid.
You have to "geo constrain" one of those.
Yours, or theirs, may be "fugawe" coords. Or, maybe both.
This question you ask is the single most common mitsake of "new to gps" folk.

What is the correct procedure for restricting data?
Not restrict. Constrain.
Ask your pls.... (easier on me).
Key in the correct coord, in your software. This means tie into an existing ngs marker. That has published coords. Some are at airports.

I do not quite understand your answer.
It'd take a while to explain. Ask your pls will be easier on the both of us.
At this point, there are MANY details, and many mistakes possible.
