@mike-marks what duty do we have to the inspectors??ÿ None.?ÿ Our duty is to our client to stake something from a plan that is mathematically correct and closes.?ÿ What happens from there is not our problem until they ask us to fix their mess.

Just finished the foundations for a 400000sqft warehouse and i used the "Do not use for construction " marked plans. Asked every day for updated info and invariably the answer was: " They're working on it ". 6 weeks after, the last piece of footing was poured without getting any new information.The GC took responsibility for the dimensions on the preliminary plans.
