Great Pictures thanks for the links too. I like to include old surveying photos when talking to High Schools about surveying, they really seem to get their attention. :bye:

It always makes me nervous when that many people stand near my setup. Especially with that one leg setup on a board. Anybody steps near it, gotta tear down and set back up. grrr...
One day I setup for staking next to a sidewalk near U of I campus, and the whole cross country team ran past the setup. Barely enough room for someone to walk past the legs safely, let alone a whole team of runners, running side-by-side or 3-abreast. Half the team jumped over the leg on the sidewalk. I stood next to the gun ready to catch it, my heart pounding more than if I had tried to run with the team. Of course, I maybe would've made it about a half a block before they carted me back to the bar.
