That can talk down to a newbie for some pointers on setup??

Trying to get http://info.oicweave.org/projects/weave/wiki

up and running for some client supplied data as a test case for future use.

Looking for some "SQL for dummies" info to get rolling in it. thanks.

What specifically are you having a problem with? That program seems to come with detailed instructions for installation... way better than most programs I'd say.

Joe,

I got through the installation, but trying to open the Weave Admin Console, it asks me about linking to the SQL database.. I guess most of the GIS' I've used, either commercial or open-source, have a drag and drop system of data input. I may be totally misunderstanding the organization scheme here, since I'm not familiar with SQL setups at all. Does that make any sense?
