Anyone out there using a Topcon PS-103 with Magnet software? Have you found it to be a little touchy with the RC-5? I'm trying to zero in on the settings that seem to work the best.

I only wish we were using that unit.

How do you like it?

In general pretty good. I have the Tesla collector w/ RTK GPS. Together a very slick pairing. I find myself fighting to find the best settings (search pattern, angles, etc.)

When I bought my first robot - GPT 8005A - I made the salesman do a job with me. It was a very small topo and he somewhat struggled getting some of those setting correct on the RC2 and the collector. I think you have a different animal though and will just have to work the kinks out until more guys on this forum get one.

BTW my salesman wants me to get a PS so keep us in the loop on how it's working. He told me it was the greatest.

Good luck

Just wondering if you're still liking the PS-103 and how has it been working for you?
Thanks
