Good morning,

My existing Leica GEB121 batteries are getting tired and I suspect they are at the end of their service life.

It looks like an alternative equivalent is made my AdirPro.

Do the Leica GEB121s have any black magic built into them? Has anyone used AdirPros and been satisfied? Any compatibility issues with Leica GKL221 pro charger?

Thanks 🙂

This battery mostly made in china ,but the original one is japan made with Sanyo NiMh cell in package.
NO issues with original charger while charging. Battery life is about one year or little above after that ???
cheap buy good performance .Try to buy best quality other this brand with same price tag from eBay.
happy surveying

Afternoon,

I looked at finding a cheaper version of the GEB batteries but was told to stay with the original Leica batteries. FLT Geosystems in Florida has a good price on them.

I had one from Batteries Plus that cost $30 and it lasted 2 years before dying. But they don't handle them anymore.

I wouldn't use anything except actual Leica batteries in them. FLT Geosystems has the best price by far.

I've been using two of these GEB121 Sanyo replacements for a while. eBay-320600378396

Thanks for the tip!

Looks like sticking with OEM is the way to go, and a re-cell is the most economical.
