So, I'm reading this motion for summary judgment filed in a fairly recent lawsuit involving a lake that was impounded by a dam built by a city and various contracts and conveyances executed in connection with the construction of the dam and the raising of the waters of the lake. From the motion:
>"In April of 1920 the City of [Anywhere], a Municipal Corporation, in anticipation of building the damn creating Lake [Anywhere], entered into a Contract with [Mr. Plaintiff's Predecessor]. the owner of the land where the damn and lake were to be located."
That is definitely a keeper.
Just another one of those damn dams. I spent 5 years designing dams for the SCS. So that made me one one those dam(n) engineers for sure. I'm quite sure you will agree, eh?
National Semiconductor used to make parts called buffer amplifiers. Every few years they would announce a newer, faster buffer amp. First the "Buffer Amp" then the "Fast Buffer Amp", the "Very Fast Buffer Amp", the "Ultra Fast Buffer Amp", and finally the "Damn Fast Buffer Amp". I'm pretty sure I still have that data book stashed away.
Damn!
