Our company is doing some work out of my comfort zone as far as survey work goes. about 8 counties away and 360 miles.
I have communicated with Andy on occasion over the last few months thru this board. Knowing he was generally from the area I was working in, I contacted him privately thru his email, told him what kind of help i was looking for. I had offered to pay for his services.
Within 20 minutes, he provided me with helpful information along with a direct link to some GLO MAPS I was searching for.(and no bill:-) )
Thank You Andy Nold

I thought for a moment he was involved in a shoot out. He's from the Metro-Mess so I assume he can handle himself. 😉

This board is a great resource for "out of service area" jobs.

Out of Town Work

Speaking of out of town work...

Kris and RAGOODWIN are you doing any work in the Eagle Ford shale now? I have had crews in and out of the Carrizo Springs area for a few weeks now, and actually picked up a sizeable boundary job while there also. Most of the firms that have been there for some time have motels booked up already through the end of next year. We had to stay 60 miles out of town in Uvalde just to find an available motel.

RAGOODWIN HOLLA BACK

Just professional courtesy. No big thang, woo woo.

You have to earn lack of response from me.

Matthew

No, that is hell and gone from me (about 7 hours). I'd love it, but no.
