Doing an ALTA Survey. Sent a preliminary version for attorney to review. Attorney sent back the following comment:

A statement should be made regarding any observable evidence of cemeteries.

Okay, not a problem. I sent back the following question:

Does that include locations of dumped bodies? I can imagine in that part of town there may be a few dumped bodies in the trash dumpsters.

I think they got a good laugh. She replied back:

By the way, an exact body count would also be appreciated. We may need that in order to get our exception of leasehold parties in possession from the title company.

Another attorney responded:

Body count could be a moving target, from day to day. We need to make sure it is current as close to closing as possible. Maybe the “tenants in possession” exception can be limited to the dumpster.

be glad you have an attorney with a sense of wit. some of my clients would have no clue that was a joke.
