I am about ready to back the pickup to the office door and start chunking stuff. It is amazing how fast stuff accumulates.

actually, those are by project, with the dups removed so it is in the org 101 level. and those are the current projects, completed projects all filed.
Just a heads up . . I had a desk lamp very similar to the one in your second photo. The ballast always felt warm but one day I smelt a distinct electrical burning smell and it was coming from the ballast on the desk lamp. On examination, there must've been some arcing because there was blackening and melted insulation inside. Apparently this can be common when the ballast fails. It was well over 30yrs old so I was in for a new one.
