This is definitely not the case. I've worked in both the lidar/photogrammetry world and the traditional world. It also makes me nervous that decisions would be made about land boundaries from this device. Hopefully it would just be used by this guy for recon and a rough estimate of where corners are so they could be found by a crew during a traditional survey.

Last I read taking pics from a drone is illegal if you are doing it for profit. Legal if for pleasure.
