I'd use your system if it could be run on my Trimble field systems and TBC as another "projection". I'd assume you have probably tried. You have a licensing fee which as developer you are entitled to. Have you thought about trying to get the big GPS vendors on board and then getting a licensing fee from the vendors as individual end users adopt your system? Maybe a few bucks collected many times would add up.

TRIMBLE, got your ears on?

Unless customers demand this, it will never gain traction in my opinion and until it is widely implemented in field and office software packages, it just won't get used, my $0.02 anyway.

I’ve been reading the LDP threads of late, and I want to express my appreciation for the education and insight you all have provided me. It seems each round of these discussions hit on something new. I came into responsible charge of my first geodetic/GPS project three years ago. I have found books and training provide a good starting foundation, but they are slow and costly. Actual practice in the field and running the software in the office provides the second phase of education but creates many questions/ problems to answer/solve; this also takes time and is expensive. Your discussions confirm what I think I know, fill gaps in my knowledge and provide examples of actual nuts and bolts solutions for very little in the way of time and expense.
Thank you for the tremendous help. Rich
