We (Eastham & Associates, Chesapeake, OH) were just informed that 3 of our maps that were submitted to the NSPS Plat Competition won (1 first place, 2 second place). One of those was a map I drew. Woohoo!:-)
Post a link to it. OR we call your bluff! 🙂

You'll just have to trust me for a little while, at least until I get all the details. I have to go get a mug shot taken to send back to NSPS.
All I know right now is the boss-man called over just a few minutes ago to inform me and a fellow surveyor that our maps won.
"Trust me"
Say, you might do ok in politics!
(OK, don't get mad, just hackin on ya!)

Here are links to the maps that won. I will post pics of us with the awards later.
The Miscellaneous category map is the map I drew. The ALTA and Subdivision category maps were drawn by fellow surveyor and co-worker Tim Ross.

Map looks awesome. The color really makes it pop (I hear that phase a lot lately).
Congratulations!
All that for an $85 survey???
Dang! Draftsmen must be a dime a dozen these days.
All that for an $85 survey???
Heck man, I'd have done it for $75 if they'd asked.
Hey, David, good job!
🙂
Nate
Like I always say, 'It might not be right, but it looks really good!'
congrats...
Maps
One of the thing we run into around here is that we MUST file surveys like this on mylar, so they can be scanned into the local system. So we have no option to use color.
