will find an acorn every now and then. Heard that saying from some old coot long ago. Didn't really making any sense to me at the time because I figured the hog wasn't really relying on his eyes so much as his nose. Anyway, I digress.

Started a new project earlier in the week and set a random point to get started. Throw the base up on it and grab an autonomous position to get things rolling. Now I'm going back and post processing everything. Submitted the base data to OPUS after giving it a few days to get a better position. Get the OPUS report in hand and convert what I need from meters to US Survey feet and what the ... it matches the autonomous position to within 0.01' horizontal. Ellipsoid vertical to within a 1.0'. Never had that happen before. The very same day I set the S6 up and go to level it ... and it's dead on, no adjustment required at all. Had I known that was the day to go out and by a lottery ticket, I could be retired by Friday. :woot:

The story of my life.

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.

I'm very prone to get it wrong, and be familiar with WRONG, before RIGHT.
I usually drive down the wrong side of the road, and the the ditch. The upside of this, is I get to become "tour guide" for some, who wish to stay out of the ditch!
