I have several 4000SSE receivers. One of them fails to find any SV's even after being on 20 minutes. All my other ones are ready to go in minutes. The unit beeps when the antenna is connected and displpays the small antenna icon on the screen. The power at the antenna connector is 8.5v
I have swapped cables and antennas with no luck.
Hard reset fails also.

I took a pair of 4000SSi units out a couple of days ago and ran a 1-hour session with the receivers in wide-open conditions about 1/4 mile apart. One unit logged 7 SVs, the other only 3. I also tried swapping antennas and cables on the suspect unit to no effect.

I was able to salvage the session, but no longer trust that receiver. Not sure what's going on, but I'd sure like to find out!
