The map shows one of the traverse legs went through the Big Horn Basin here in Wyoming, so I would be glad to go out and occupy one or more of those points if that would be of value to your project.

That would be great, Glenn. As I get into it, I may ask for volunteers. I can see a paper coming out if this...

The bit of data that I downloaded last night did have several points that have since been GPS'd (as evidenced by a "0" in the horizontal order column rather than a "1")

Pretty cool that you can get a hold of the observations like that. I hope you can get those zenith distances. I agree with you that this could turn into a very interesting paper. If you are looking for volunteers, count me in.

I am still looking for a PDF of "Specifications to Support Classification, Standards of Accuracy, and General Specifications of Geodetic Control Surveys" if anyone knows where it can be found, besides just scanning my own paper copy 😉
