I'm personally aggrevated by a property pin driven flush with the ground and not even a wooden stake alongside. I use the slender Bernstein's fiberglass posts with Property Mark decal

They're nonmetallic, orange easy to see on the weeds, flexible and bend if run over. A little pricey at around $10 each and last for years. They make a job look professionally done.

Been using these fiberglass orange poles for a monument guard in urban areas where a tpost is not so welcome. Can be found in stores from WalMart to Home Depot and Amazon.

I switched to these from the full-size Carsonite posts for NGS-style monumentation projects, but they're not very good in some soil conditions (hardpan or rocky).?ÿ And I always end up with microscopic fiberglass splinters in my hands.?ÿ (Gloves??ÿ What are those?)
