I can send a coordinate file to C&G 7 from a TSC3 with Trimble Access but not vice-versa. I've made sure all of the port and baud rate settings are the same in both C&G and Access. I just got this data collector and have never used it with this (or any other) computer before.

The data collector displays:

Receiving from external device
Records received: 0

It never receives the coordinate file.

Any ideas?

Yes, instead of trying to load the file that way just copy it onto the collector either directly in Windows Explorer via USB or using a thumb drive. Put it in Trimble Data(Username), make sure the extension is either TXT or CSV, and the format is comma delimited PNEZD (fields can be in any order). Open/create the job then either link to the text file or (preferred) import it using Jobs>Import/Export>Import Fixed Format.

:good:

Yeah, we just up/download to/from a USB. It's quick and easy.
