Is anyone else having trouble getting TBC to work on a Windows 10 machine. It installs fine but when I try to start a new project TBC locks up unitl an error occurs?
I'm not having any problems with it what version are you trying to run? 3.70.1 definitely works fine on my new Win 10 laptop. It wouldn't surprise me if you had problems with older versions though.
I have v3.6x on a 64-bit Win 10 workstation. No problems with the install or running small projects, but larger GPS jobs (1 or 2 thousand vectors) make it run pretty slow.
Jim if your laptop has an NVIDIA graphics card right-click on the desktop icon and go to Run Using Graphics Card and select it - that may speed it up considerably.
No problems with Win10,,,,,now as far as TBC goes,,,,,sure wish TGO would run on WIN10 and I would only use TGO, except for static.
I have had issues with the license server being located. We have a network license and whatever process it does to find the license messes up on some new installs of TBC within my company. Thankfully I have an IT guy at the company to figure it out every time.
