I'm sending in a few .dat files of static, using the TCC menu, filling in the pertinent info and clicking send. Only problem is, I get a message back from Opus that states:
FILE: MI040111A TR4679795010525
Site: 6438

It doesn't allow you to select a cors site from any pulldown menu. At any rate, just seeing what you all around the world are seeing with this issue?
OPUS Is Remembering Your Prior Profile
Go to options and reset it to nothing.

OPUS Is Remembering Your Prior Profile
Are you talking about in TBC options? I don't see anything in there about OPUS....
OPUS Is Remembering Your Prior Profile
You said, "I get a message back from Opus that states:"
So what are you asking about?
Paul in PA
OPUS Is Remembering Your Prior Profile
I was asking to see if folks around have used the TBC Opus solutions program. I am aware that I can send it to OPUS thru their website, but apparently a "cool part" about the new TBC is that you can send it to Opus through TBC. I was just showing I got back an error report back and that it doesn't work thru their program...thought maybe I was doing something wrong.
OPUS Is Remembering Your Prior Profile
Assuming that TBC submits to OPUS, does it use your email address to receive a response?
Where you to manually submit to OPUS and use Options, OPUS remembers that profile until you reset it. If OPUS thinks TBC is you it will use your profile. If TBC cannot clear or reset your profile you will have to do a manual OPUS submission. Having done that use TBC again and see if you get the same error or results.

I found the OPUS utility through TBC to be clunky and not allow for the expanded output. It was a great idea that didn't interface as much as it should. As such, I d/l the new convert2rinex utility and still do it the old way and have zero problems.
Why Convert?

Why convert? Aren't you using Trimble receivers, and doesn't OPUS still read Trimble DAT files?
Jim
There was a time that it read the native files, but it quit sometime in the past. It may now read native files again, but I've just been in the habit for several years of converting.
OPUS Is Remembering Your Prior Profile
That was it Paul in PA...I submitted a rinex thru the OPUS site, had it delete my profile, then went back to TBC-OPUS and it worked great. Thanks for that, would have never figured that out.
Why Convert?
Exactly what Kris says--at least with the new Trimble R8-3s, you have to convert dat to rinex now...
Why Convert?
OPUS still accepts the *.dat format Trimble files, I submit direct from my 4700 all the time. However, that may not be the case with the newer (*.t01?) files.
Why Convert?
Yeah, the older files still work...
