I was wondering if Trimble access can be moved from one device to another.I am looking at buying a data collector on ebay but I was wanting to purchase it mainly for it's Trimble Access software.My main goal is to get a good deal on the software?ÿ and move it over to a panasonic toughpad I already have.Is this possible?
Yes, but I believe the software warranty/ maintenance has to be current. I moved mine from my Yuma2 to my new T7 a few months ago easy as pie.
Check with your dealer for details.
Not sure you can move from TSC2/3 that are WinCE operating system to Win10 systems and Access2018 or 2019?
@christ-lambrecht I just checked with my salesman and was told that as long as the warranty is up to date the older versions can be moved to new equipment. Mine was the older version on a Yuma2 and I moved it to the T7 and installed Access 2019 with no issues.
Check with your dealer.?ÿ Not all Access licenses were created equal.?ÿ Some are able to be moved to another device some are not.?ÿ The best way to check is send the SN to your dealer and they can check with Trimble.?ÿ
