Hello - we're trying to use our digital level with our Topsurv data collector, and have run into a weird issue. We can't seem to figure out how to delete an observation and redo that observation.

Example: We take a shot. For some reason, the digital level pings on a car, reflects back wrong, etc. - happens everyday. For some reason, the Topsurv software stores that information as a shot, with a way out there distance and usually a 0.00 elevation observation.

All we want to do is delete that observation and start over again, which should be easy. We couldn't find it in the manual, etc. Anyone figured out how to do this?

Also, does anyone know why it doesn't always add up the observations correctly? We've seen a couple of times now where the software gives us an answer, but when you subtract the observation from the last calculated height, it doesn't match. Can't find anything in the settings under configuration. This is basic math, so it must be something we're missing in a setting?

Thanks,

Paul

I've seen this too.

You can NOT delete the data from TopSurv. But if you open the TopSurv file in TopLink or Topcon Tools, then you can delete a single entry. and recompute the data.
