I have a Fc-2000 that will not come on, it has come on every day for years.
Of course, there are file i need off of it.
We used it just yesterday.
I have another FC-2000 that works just fine and took its battery out put in the non coming on one and it still will not come on.
Probably fried for some reason, but maybe some knows something I don't.

Was able to open up bad DC and remove internal CF card and transfer needed files to good DC.
It is not worth fixing, but at least no jobs need to be done again.

Good to hear you did not loose any data.
I had a Topcon FC1000 when I started up my business, and it did not last very long.
After the data has been stored, you can count your efforts of the day a victory.
Maybe some of this rain will reach you this morning.
