Did TBC remove the TGO to TBC conversion program in the newer updates, I can't seem to find it in my 5.31 version
Yes, the TGO converter was taken out with the June 2020 release of TBC.?ÿ If you have files that need to be converted, pm me and I can convert them for you.
Thanks for the offer, but I probably have a over 1 thousand files that are still TGO. I have older versions of TBC but they don't seem to work either. Version 5.0. The program is there but it fails.?ÿ
@mightymoe?ÿ You say that it fails.?ÿ Do you mean that you open the program and it never finishes loading??ÿ I had a similar situation this week with another customer.?ÿ I haven't heard back, but I had them run the Trimble Office Cleanup Utility and reinstall their current version.?ÿ I have only seen that not fix the issue one time, and the issue that time was their IT group's fault.?ÿ?ÿ
Version 5.0 should have the TGO converter.?ÿ If you can't get to it after reloading, let me know and I can probably find some sort of workaround.?ÿ?ÿ
Thanks, I pick the TGO file, pick the new path, run the program, it starts running then gives me a fail message with the message that it can't connect to the Trimble service. It may be our new server causing that problem.?ÿ
Thanks for letting me know, I spent way too much time looking for the conversion program. The work around of course is importing a DC file from the TGO file into a new TBC file. This can easily miss a lot of data. Is there a reason the conversion program was eliminated??ÿ

I don't think it's your server.?ÿ All of those services were done by a different segment of Trimble, Trimble Access Services.?ÿ That is the same group that sends the T0x files to OPUS when you go through TBC.?ÿ I looked and did not find anything in the ether, but have contacted a buddy in their support group that may have a way.?ÿ I'll let you know when I hear something.
I'm not sure why they do a lot of the things they do.?ÿ I could spend days talking about things they have done that I think are boneheaded...?ÿ I'm just a lowly support guy though, so I don't have a whole lot of influence in that area.?ÿ?ÿ
