I am needing to add a station equation to a VAL. The way it has always been done at my office is adding or subtracting the appropriate value when entering the VAL stations. It just seems like there should be a better way. The station equation has already been added to my HAL. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Maybe I'm not following, but can't you just connect the 2 sections with a straight line? Create it up to the eq, then connect to the start of the second section. If it's in a vertical curve may have to do some trimming to get it right. Make sure you don't create 2 xlines if its an overlapping equation,
I'm sorry, I don't think I explained my problem very well. I guess what I really want to know is if there is a way to add a station equation to a VAL. I know you can add one to a HAL but I need to be able to add the same equation to the VAL.
I'm still not following. When drawing the VAL I would draw it up to the equation back station, then start another VAL at the ahead station and finish drawing it. Then connect the ends at the equation so it's a single VAL.
