I'm running Surveypro V5.2 on a TSC3 and having some issues with deleting backup .survey files. Recently did a survey that required a lot of gyrations to get on control after my primary control points had been compromised. Surveypro did not like my coordinate gymnastics and somewhere along the way reset my origin to N:0.00 E:0.00 for my autonomous base, originally on SP crd values. Got everything dialed back in and the work done, but now can't delete the darn backup.survey files from the DC. I'm inclined to think they're corrupted. Get this message 'filename.survey could not be deleted. The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected'. But I can copy them over fine, just not open or delete them.
Anyone out there have any similar experiences. Solutions?
Thanks in advance.

I've had SurvCE pull a similar stunt where I can download no problem but can't delete specific files. I've learned to exit the DC software to the Windows environment then delete the files. Dropping to Windows seems to release any flags about files being in use by the DC software. YMMV.
ditto but in TDS.....
That did the trick. Thanks.
