Can anyone tell where this is located on Windows 10?
Or how do I change the default setting when creating a new project.

On my machine, it's located in "C:ProgramDataMicroSurveyStarNetV9"
ProgramData is a hidden folder, so you may have to check the "show hidden files" option in your folder options.

In the program, under the OPTIONS pulldown, modify the COMPANY defaults. Thereafter each new project will open with the settings as set therein.
You could open the file company.def in Notepad and modify it, but that is kind of dangerous and not easier.
The PROJECT settings only affects the currently opened project.
