Of course, we all love the glorious RomanS font, which I use for most of my lettering in my drawings.?ÿ However, when I print to PDF, it looks like crap.?ÿ The letters are all varying thickness and it doesn't look right unless you zoom way in.?ÿ TrueType fonts like Arial don't have this problem.?ÿ Is there a way to make the type look better in PDF, or is there a TT font that looks pretty much the same?
here's my take on that issue- if somebody is looking at my PDF at a scale where that is occurring... they need to zoom in.
iow- it's almost like a little hedge against map misinterpretation.
We do not ALL love RomanS, in fact I don't like it much at all and do not feel it is glorious either.
I was a bit tongue in cheek about that... Well, what do you use as your basic font?
Arial.
I like it but it is a memory hog and would like to find something similar that does not require so much.
It may be your PDF?ÿ converter or the dpi setting you are using.
I use 400 dpi or more depending upon the importance of the document.
Frugal Sans is my choice font
