Anyone having trouble with Win 10 updates and Carlson software??ÿ How did you solve it?ÿ
I haven't had any recent problems, but in the past I've had to go back and reinstall the previous version of Windows to fix the probem.
I've had to rereg?ÿ sincpac w/ win 10 and 2016 c3d?ÿ?ÿ
I'm not a fan of the win updates
When Carlson acts wonky, I check the registration before just about anything else.?ÿ Several of the Windows updates change the system enough that you have re-register Carlson.
After Microsoft decided to update 3 of my computers at the office all the screen sizes changed. I finally figured out how to "roll back" the video drivers and everything works fine now. I also learned how to turn off Win 10 auto updates.?ÿ ??ÿ
And you haven't seen fit to share that tidbit of info with the rest of us? How does one turn off the cursed windows?ÿ updates for good?

From what I've seen, it does Not work. I turn it off (disable) there and a couple days later, updates is set right back to manual start. Just won't stay on the disabled setting (I believe) because Mother Microsoft thinks she knows best for us and breaking our computers.

Well they sure know how to screw up video drivers.

Among a myriad of other issues folks have experienced and not had resolved...... trust me, I have experience a few of the issues and regretted the day I let Microslop "update" my machine, which was working just fine, thank you, before the breaking started.
If you are using Windows 10 Home you can slow down, but not stop, updates.
- Open the start menu and select Settings.
- Click the Network and Internet link.
If you are using a Wi-Fi conection:
- Select Wi-Fi from the sidebar.
- Click the Manage known network link under your existing connection.
- Choose the network you're currently using from the list of available ones
- Set as metered connection to on.
If you are using an Ethernet connection:
- Select Ethernet from the sidebar.
- Select the Network you are connected to.
- Set as metered connection to on.
