I recently acquired office 365 business premium due to wanting it to manage the custom email domain, word, excel and for the onedrive backup.?ÿ The first lot are fine but onedrive as a backup has been a surprise.?ÿ 3.4gb (7000 odd files) took over 24 hours to upload for a start which seems way to slow for me using a 100mb/20mb up/down fibre connection, not sure if that is normal??ÿ

Also you have to store all the files in the one drive folder which is in your user folders, this makes for long path names and I can't see a way to map a local folder as a drive to make this easier to access (and Microsoft won't let you use symbolic links so you can leave the work folder in c: and 'mirror' it into the onedrive folder).?ÿ Pinning folder to quick access will work ok on the machine but when your downloading from online you have to trudge through c: > users > *USER NAME* > onedrive > *FOLDER* > *SUBFOLDER* etc which is a bit tedious.

Also curious if onedrive has any problem with CAD files for GNSS/TPS native files?
?ÿ
Box is the same way.?ÿ Look in the sidebar of file explorer for a shortcut for Onedrive.?ÿ It is a little faster navigating through that shortcut than going through the users sub-directory.
You can change the location of the OneDrive folder under the account tab in settings.
I use it for C3D, Infinity, QuickBooks, Google Earth and more.?ÿ I'm not sure how well it would work with multiple users though.
From the PC going onedrive > settings > account doesn't give me an option to change onedrive folder location, just the ability to unlink account or choose which folders I want to sync?
good to know theres no problems with the CAD files. It's just for me to use (solo) so sound like it'll be fine.
You might have to un-sync first.?ÿ I no it is possible because my company and personal OneDrive folders are on a second hard drive on my workstation.
