I prefer to use the "word processor" function when messing with text. For you Acad guys, it is similar to "mtext"...
Somehow this has been disabled. It appears as though it can't "find" the word-processor. Anybody know how I can turn this back on?
...OK..all you smart asses...don't tell me to enable "hyperthreading"...;-)
I was forced to use Microstation during a time I now refer to as "The Great Depression" 😉 . Anyway, I remember this happening to me once. I don't remember how I fixed it but a quick Google search found this:
Workspace
-Preferences
--Text
---Text Editor Style
----Word Processor

Tried that but the software "can't find" the word processor.

If you receive the error “Unable to load/create dialog of item type 'html', id = 41510001 from dialog `Text Editor - Word Processor´” when attempting to open the Word Processor, make sure you have the correct version of the Bentley Desktop Application Pre-Requisite Pack installed. The Word Processor utilizes a third-party control which is not installed on your computer by default.
Maybe?

What version of Microstation and what OS? With latest versions you need DHTML.
Did you do any house cleaning lately and possibly uninstall or corrupt "DHTML Editing Component"
Go to to your control panel, under Programs and Features, see if it is missing. Or just re-install from
