I have a Leica Survey Office 2.0 disk for the TPS1100 and a TCRA1101+ instrument.
Anyone familiar with this (slightly old, 2003) softwareinstrument setup?
I'd like to add programs to the 1101 (the disk seems to have everything I need) and download files from the instrument to the computer.
I'll take a wack at the manual, but being familiar with how Leica works, I anticipate I'll need some help.

If you want to use LGO to install or update firmware or applications on the Leica instrument you listed you need to use the Software Upload application under the Tools menu. This application is the one needed to perform the actions you describe and is a standard tool in all versions of LGO. You can also install the applications with the memory card used in the instruments. If you are using the on-board software you will be required to use the memory card for storage of any data. We can work through the LGO scenario and also the Memory Card scenario. The memory card is easier.
For LGO.... do you already have a cable that will successfully connection your instruments to the PC running LGO?
I have a guide for uploading with a memory card already if you want me to email the pdf of the guide to you.
