As I posted earlier today, my laptop with this software on it has a dead system battery and I need to install on another computer, but I cannot find my disk. I was on maintenance back when it was installed and I did receive Version 5 but never got the hardware dongle updated for Version 5. Version 3 was doing all I needed to do. I went back to an older computer that has Skipro V3.0 and it does not have the info for the GPS 1200 system. The GPS 500 is the latest in Version 3 Skipro. My question is, does anyone know if there is a place to download the Leica LGO version 3.3. I have the hardware dongle that I use to run it.

Are you looking for SkiPro or LGO 3.3? I have a 3.0 version of LGO, I think the 3.3 version was probably a download version as I don't see a disk in the software closet.

The disk is dated Jan 2006, that should have the 1200 system as I bought my 1200's in 2007 and I know I wasn't right at the start of the 1200 era.

Yes, LGO version 3, I have SkiPro 3 installed and it does not have the system 1200 in it. I knew my LGO was version 3.?, just was not sure because I could not boot the computer that it is on. I was hoping someone could tell me how I could get back going.
Thanks

Shelby,

I usually use LGO to make a Rinex file for OPUS and have been able to send a raw .obs file for my system 399. Can you tell me the extension for the raw data for the system 1200 that I can submit to OPUS?

Thanks
Ed

The raw file from the 1200 is going to be *.m00, OPUS should be able to decode that. You can have ONLY one occupation per m00 file when sending to OPUS, if you have more than one occupation OPUS won't accept the data file. I have had mixed results sending in the raw 1200 files, I usually export a RINEX file from LGO.

You can download LGO 3.0 here

I did not load the French, German or Spanish versions to save some space, this is still about 250 Mb zipped.

This wont be available until approximately 2210 UTC (31-Aug-2013) due to the time required for the upload.

Hope this gets you going.

Thanks. I did get a .M00 file to process, I have had mixed results with the .obs files as well.

Thanks so much for the help. I will download and install and see if I can get it to run. I need to get my hardware dongle updated to a USB.

Thanks again Shelby. The program installed with a hitch and my hardware dongle worked and I have computed my projects. Just to let you know, the OPUS result between two traverse points varied from the LGO by 0.15' in distance and 0.62' vertical. The LGO matches the 1200 Robot within 0.01 when using the CGF and is flat on elevation. This is what I usually see when I compare the LGO results with the field traverse. In all fairness to OPUS in this case, the report did say that the coordinates for one of the Cors used might have a problem with its coordinates. I usually get good results with the files submitted to OPUS in Rinex format generated by LGO like you said you do. As a check on the raw data submitted, I am going to resubmit a Rinex file generated by LGo and compare the results.

LEICA GEOID 12A

Shelby,

Do you have a geoid12a.exe file for LGO? I can run the NGS program manually, but have not been able to have LGO run it. In previous geoid files I used the Leica supplied exe file for the geoid that I was using.

Thanks,
Ed

Thanks, trying to current on everything now that I have done the new install. I have installed on another laptop and an office computer so that I do not get caught again with nothing to work with. I knew that it was not good to be without a backup system, but luckily I have been very busy lately and had been putting it off.

LEICA GEOID 12A

Thanks Shelby. Everything is up and running better than before because I now have 12A installed. I appreciate you helping me even though you do not know me, but I feel like I know a lot of the people on this board because I have been following the posts on this site and the old RPLS site from the time Mark started it. I have helped others over the years, I guess it is true what goes around, comes around. Thanks again.

Yes, I took that down, I am currently away from the office for several weeks so will not be able to reload, perhaps the OP who I loaded this for can share?

SHG-

Could you repost the Leica LGO Geoid12A download? I contacted Leica, but they have not gotten back with me yet. The latest they have is the Geoid09 zip file available for download.

You can email it to me as well @ eric.stoll@wspgroup.com.

Thank you.
