I had to replace my computer that had been running 2000 and decided to get Windows 7 Professional so that I could continue to use Google Earth, Chrome and other updated software. I need to install LDT 2007 on this computer sense my clients use this version. Is it possible to still get a code from autodesk for this version of LDT? Any help with the installation in Windows 7 would be appreciated. I have read different posts over years on doing this, but wanted to get some current advice before I tried so that I would not have to remove and try again. I do not know if the XP mode in built in or do I need to download from Microsoft? I am using the 64 bit version of windows.

Thanks

Installing LDD 2007 in Windows 7 Professional?

Thanks Brad,

I have run into a problem trying to load LDD on my computer. The problem seems to be with the Autodesk installer not recognizing my second drive. I have a 120GB solid state drive as C: and 1TB drive installed as drive B:. The installer says that drive B: has 0 bites available and wants to use 28KB for the installation process so the program will not let me install on C: for that reason. The program will not let me select drive C: in the list of drives. Windows explorer shows the correct sizes for both drives. Does anyone have a solution or suggestions for me to try. I am using the method that Mighty Moe posted. Any help would be appreciated.
