There are many free *.png to *.dwg converters available. Take a *.jpg of your signature and save it as *.png then convert to a *.dwg. Works for me in Autocad. 😎
In Texas the concern is that the licensed surveyor is the only person that is in control of their seal and signature, be it actual or digital, and that the original is kept in their files.
Personally, I sign a copy and apply a crimp seal and shade it with red pencil, color scan to PDF.
My son has proven to me that he can hack most anything created on a computer.

This is precisely the reason why the states that are on top of this have very real requirements regarding original signatures and control and use of a digital signature. A pdf freehand signature from your mouse is not a digital signature.
