Can anyone tell me if this is a lot of trouble to replace?
Thanks

can't comment on the HP T1100 specifically, but I did replace belt on my HP 500designjet a few yrs ago. Downloaded step by step instructions from some tech website (google it) and it took me all weekend.
You can do it. Just go slow and follow the steps.
[Sidebar: about 6 mo. later had an "Error 02:10" which required professional repairs for more than the unit was worth)
AND just replaced the belt on same unit this month. I paid a local techie friend $350 which included the parts.
Best to replace them before they break. It messes w/ carriage calibration if they break.
Took 2-3 hours to replace the belt on my HP450C 24" wide plotter. Fairly easy following the instructions.
