I just had my computer switched over to Windows 7 and gave up TGO. As a new user of TBC I was wondering if there is a way to look at the info that one use to find in the .dc file editor?

I have found a great deal of the information on the side bars in TBC, but what I would like to be able to do is see some of the setup information to verify the actions of crew members (both conventional and GNSS)

Any ideas?

In the left pane, right click on any setup or sideshot and click "Properties". A pane will open on the right side of your screen that shows the info you are looking for.

Are you wanting to do this before or after import?

Before, maybe the wrong GEOID, coord system...?... Only way is your DC file editor.

After, change rod heights, descriptions, verify time they finished....

Import the file and under your Project Explorer you can expand all of the Imported Files. After opening the "tree" for a given file, you can see every set up and points shot. You can change HI, HR and several other functions individually or collectively by point or set up.

The dc file editor is a separate executable that can still be used for editing prior to import into TBC.

Trimble hasn't come up with a way to take it away from us so we have to buy something else yet. Just a matter of time.

Do you need to have a license to change HT's in TBC?

Unfortunately, it looks like you do need the license to edit data. You can import & view without it, but you'll need it to edit.

Thanks for the confirmation; I guess I'll be talking to my Trimble Rep.
