When using MText try playing around with the Background Mask command under Option (far right down arrow button when you are in MTedit command.

Probably there's a better way, but I do the following.

Create a layer called highlight and assign color yellow.
Using the highlight layer draw pline of certain width over object.
Use draworder to determine what shows through.

You can also convert the text to mtext and then use the background mask

to highlight any text you have.

For any highlighting of lines - as previously mentioned -

select all the lines
copy to an area adjacent
put them on their own layer
increase global width through properties box
change color of lines then copy back
use draworder to send to the back of original lines

Hey, now that is something I would like. A BUTTON to highlight. So if I multiple coords for a point, but one is the final, then I can highlight it, and print a worksheet, with ALL the final coords highlighted!!

HEY CARLSON, IT's NATE, BEGGING for something!
