I'm using Trimble Business Center 2.75 or 2.8.?ÿ I'm using Geoid 2009 for elevations.?ÿ Is there any change with Geoid 2012 or 2018.?ÿ I'm using legacy receivers, Trimble 4700's.?ÿ Also if I want to load the later geoids how do you do it??ÿ Thanks.?ÿ I should add TBC only shows 2009 when I wish to change coordinate systems.

You want to be using Geoid12B. Later Geoids are betas, not for general use.?ÿ Its data can be downloaded from the NGS website easily enough, and at no charge. I'm not familiar enough with TBC to advise you just how to get it loaded into there, but it won't be too hard.?ÿ ?ÿ

If you check some NGS data sheets, you will find that GEOID18 is in full use now.

?ÿ

And as deputy Spelling Police, Jr. Grade I would change the title to the plural rather than the possessive.

@bill93

A couple of years ago we were installing a control station in the footpath, using RTK, and an aerial mapping wagon cruised by, stopped, and the head honcho got out and floated over, introduced himself, told us about their operation, and the RTK equipment they used, then asked what geoid we were using. What threw me was, he pronounced it: "gee-oh eye-dee".
